There is no problem too big or too small, and no child too young or too old to gain support.

  • We are passionate about supporting parents through the early years with their children. Those toddler years sneak up fast and can be incredibly challenging. Therapy under the age of 4 primarily focuses on parent-only sessions to support you to build the tools and strategies you need to build strong relationships and help your little ones through their first waves of big feelings, challenging behaviours, and life changes.

    We can support you to:

    • Develop a strong early attachment

    • Manage tantrums and big feelings

    • Navigate daycare transitions

    • Respond to challenging behaviours

    • Support early experiences of anxiety and fear

    • Support little ones through family changes

  • People often ask us how old their child needs to be to begin therapy. The answer is that it is never too early to start! For children aged 4-6, therapy involves a lot of support from parents. You will join your child in their sessions, help them practice strategies at home, and plan parent-only sessions to grow your understanding of  your child’s unique needs.

We can support your young child with:

    • ADHD strategies

    • Challenging Behaviours

    • Emotion regulation

    • Grief and Trauma

    • Fears and Worries

    • School transitions

    • Selective Mutism

    • Separation Anxiety

    • Sleep

  • As children grow through their elementary school years, their engagement in therapy becomes more independent. They still need their parents to join for session check-ins, help them implement strategies at home, and help share their progress while they start to spend more of their time in sessions on their own.

At this stage, we support children with:

    • Anxiety, ADHD, OCD

    • Grief and Trauma

    • Emotion Regulation

    • Navigating life and family changes

    • Peer and sibling relationships

    • School stress

    • Self-esteem

    • Sleep

  • The teen years bring many new challenges and exciting moments. Teens are seeking acceptance from their peers, growing their identity, and learning independence. It is not uncommon for conflict to arise between teens and their parents, for stress to rise, and self-esteem to plummet during these years. If your teen needs support, we are here to help them feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and emotions in the counselling space.

Through the teen years, we can support:

    • Anxiety, ADHD, OCD

    • Body image

    • Grief and Trauma

    • Identity formation

    • Navigating life changes

    • School stress and overwhelm

    • Depression, self-harm and thoughts of suicide

    • Self-esteem and identity formation

    • Sleep

  • Early adulthood is all about navigating change. Whether moving away from home for the first time, starting a new job or school program, making new friends, or finding new interests, it is a time of new experiences and growth.

We can support young adults with:

    • Anxiety, ADHD, and OCD

    • Depression, self-harm and thoughts of suicide

    • Grief and Trauma
